Work Plan

Adaptation of the reactor for semi-industrial scale production of the new plant-based coagulant product. Implementation of semi-industrial scale production of natural-based coagulants, including validation procedure (NSF registration), fine tuning and optimisation of the production process, quality control and technical validation of the coagulant efficiency.

Design, construction, and commissioning of the new pilot treatment plant to be used at the EMIVASA facilities (La Presa, Valencia) during the demonstration phase. Adaptation of an existing water treatment prototype to be commissioned at the CANAL ISABEL II facilities (Colmenar Viejo, Madrid) during the implementation phase.

Pilot scale implementation phase including validation of the new technology through the prototypes installed at the drinking water treatment plants in Madrid and Valencia (Colmenar Viejo and La Presa). Full scale implementation phase including the validation of the new technology through real drinking water treatment plants in Madrid and Valencia (Colmenar Viejo and La Presa).

Replicability and transferability actions of the project results, including the design and development of a business plan.

Public awareness and dissemination of results including the elaboration of a Communication Plan, a website, raising awareness /dissemination and networking activities.
